I’m Chelsea — a mom to the sweetest little girl, a birth doula, and hopefully your new safe space throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond 🤍

My own birth experience fueled my passion for serving other women during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. The more births I attend, the more I realize that the issue isn’t that women aren’t capable—it’s that many have never been given the education, support, and preparation they deserve for labor, birth, and postpartum.

That realization is what inspired me to create Loving Beginnings Doula Care.

I believe every woman deserves to feel informed, supported, respected, and deeply cared for as she navigates pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Whether you’re hoping for an unmedicated birth, planning an epidural, preparing for a VBAC, or simply looking for someone to walk beside you through it all, I’m here to provide evidence-based education, unwavering support, and a calm presence when you need it most.

My Approach

I’m going to be totally honest here 😜

I’m probably not the most zen, meditation-loving, hypnobirthing doula out there (although I absolutely respect that approach, and can happily point you toward someone who specializes in it!).

My style is a little different.

I’m your cheerleader, your calm in the chaos, your extra set of hands, and your biggest source of encouragement when things get hard. I’m there to hold your hand, remind you how strong and capable you are, explain what’s happening, help you navigate decisions, and make sure you never feel alone in the process.

Think less “sit quietly and breathe through it” and more “YOU’VE GOT THIS, mama!” 🫶🏼

This includes helping you prepare for labor, offering comfort measures during birth such as acupressure, counter pressure, massage, lighting and aromatherapy. Advocating for your wishes, and supporting you in the early postpartum period. My goal is for you to have a beautiful & positive birth experience.

  • I offer a few different levels of support so you can choose what feels best for you and your birth experience:

    Full Birth Support Package — $1,800
    Includes two prenatal visits, birth plan guidance, on-call support from 37 weeks, continuous labor & birth support, unlimited text support throughout pregnancy, and one postpartum visit.

    Labor-Only Support — $1,200
    Includes on-call support from 37 weeks and continuous labor & birth support on the day of your birth.

    Virtual Doula Support — $600
    Perfect for families who want guidance and support from a distance. Includes prenatal education, birth planning assistance, and continuous virtual support via text/phone/video during labor.

    Birth Planning + Labor Education Session — $400
    A personalized session designed to help you feel informed, confident, and prepared for your birth. Includes guidance creating your birth plan, understanding your options, and learning practical comfort measures and coping techniques for labor.

    Payment plans are available upon request. A complimentary consultation is always included so we can make sure we’re the perfect fit 🤍

  • Many families book support in the second trimester, but it’s never too early or too late to reach out. I’ll meet you wherever you are in your pregnancy and help you prepare for your birth and postpartum journey.
